Police: Teen arrested in alleged connection to 3 carjackings in Stamford

Investigators say they found evidence in the recovered stolen vehicles linking 18-year-old Tyssan Woods, of Waterbury, to the crimes.

Stamford and Waterbury police arrested a teen they say is linked to three carjackings on March 26 and 28.
Investigators say they found evidence in the recovered stolen vehicles linking 18-year-old Tyssan Woods, of Waterbury, to the crimes.
Police say Woods had two guns and keys for the stolen vehicles.
Officials also found other evidence related to recent burglaries across Fairfield County in his home.
The Stamford Police Department say they are actively collaborating with the Stamford States Attorney’s office to pursue charges against Woods for the carjacking crimes and additional offenses committed in Stamford.
