Westport police say a threat found on social media Monday morning did not pose a danger to the town's schools.

A student reported a "disturbing" social media post at about 7:15 a.m.

Officers say they were able to determine the person responsible and located that person at school around 8 a.m.

They say they were able to determine the student did not pose a threat.
