A tractor-trailer that was backing up struck a car Saturday morning in Bridgeport, police say.
The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. on Housatonic Avenue.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a car underneath the trailer and the driver trapped.
The driver was pulled from the car and taken to the hospital.
