6h agoRoute 136 near Bayberry Road in Westport has reopened after a large tree fell and hit a car Wednesday morning.
A car was driving when a large tree fell and hit a vehicle at 6:40 a.m., according to authorities.
The driver, who was the sole person in the car, was able to get out and only had minor injuries.
They were taken to the hospital by Westport EMS.
The road reopened around 10:30 a.m.
