A man died after his truck crashed into another car and then struck a house in Trumbull, police say.

The incident happened Friday on Daniels Farm Road near Strobel Road at 7 p.m.

Police say a sedan and pickup truck collided before the pickup truck hit a home on Daniel's Farm Road and came to a stop.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 54-year-old Trumbull man, became entrapped. Trumbull EMS arrived at the scene and he was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he later died.

The driver of the sedan was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with minor injuries.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification. 

Police say the home that was struck sustained minor damage, and the residents were not home at the time.
