Westport police say a woman from New York is in custody after stealing merchandise from a HomeGoods.
Police say they arrested Tamika Davis, 26, on Wednesday.
They say they had issued a search warrant to find evidence in her car.
Police say that is where they found multiple stolen items, including clothing and fake gift cards.
They say they also found bags lined with aluminum and magnetic security tag removers, which allegedly helped her get past store security alarms.
