Police: Woman wearing Wal-Mart vest robs Norwalk bank
A woman robbed a Norwalk bank Friday morning and did so while wearing a Wal-Mart vest, police say.
The robbery took place at the First County Bank on Connecticut Avenue around 11:30 a.m.
Police say the suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The note implied she had a weapon, but one was never shown.
News 12 is told no one was injured during the robbery.
Officials have not released how much money the woman got away with. They describe her as wearing a Wal-Mart vest and black glasses with her hair pulled back.
Although there is a Wal-Mart next to the bank, police are unsure if the woman is actually an employee there or was just wearing the vest.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
