Bridgeport police say they're investigating the discovery of what appears to be human remains found behind a warehouse on South Avenue near the Marina Village public housing project.
Police say they found the remains around 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon inside some concrete pipes behind 750 South Ave.
They say the owner found the remains while preparing to open the warehouse, which he recently purchased.
Police say the medical examiner must still determine if the remains are definitely human, but it is suspected because the remains appeared to be clothed. The final report is expected in one to two weeks, police say.
