President Donald Trump is freezing $14 million in aid for Connecticut's K-12 school districts. Education Secretary Linda McMahon notified states about it late last week. States can appeal for an exception to spend more funds on a specific project basis. Gov. Ned Lamont said, “We are disappointed and we are doing everything we can to ensure our students get the support they were promised.”
Discussing the aid freeze and the state of the current legislative session is state Sen. Jason Perillo.
