The presidential campaigns are starting to set up shop this week in Connecticut with the state's primaries less than a month away.
Workers will be out putting up signs and making phone calls on behalf of both Republicans and Democrats. Democratic candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders will be opening a Connecticut headquarters on Saturday, April 2.
Dr. Gary Rose, a political scientist at Sacred Heart University, says people can expect Connecticut to make a crucial difference this year.
"I think everyone is going to show up in Connecticut," he said. "I think the message is obviously going to be jobs."
Campaigns are expected to run phone banks for at least three or four times a week until the primary on April 26.
