Some Priceline.com employees put aside their work in the travel-deals industry in order to work on the company's 11th annual food drive.
Hundreds of Priceline.com employees crossed the street from their Norwalk offices Monday and headed to Costco, where they purchased hundreds of turkeys and other food items to donate to families in need.
The employees then loaded the food into trucks and drove to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County in Stamford.
"I'm super-proud of Pricline.com employees," said CEO Paul Hennessy. "This is an employee-driven event, and employees really want to support the local communities that we live, work and play in."
Hennessy said the company would match every dollar raised by employees.
