Police say a Catholic priest is accused of embezzling from a church in Seymour.
Authorities say Father Honore Kombom, of Weston, funneled at least $20,000 left to Saint Augustine's Church in Seymour into a bank account he set up in 2013.
The Archdiocese of Hartford says it is cooperating fully with the investigation.
Kombo has been barred from serving as a priest pending the investigation.
