Thousands of spectators showed their support Sunday at the 20th annual Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade led by Grand Marshall and Borough President Adolfo Carrión.The parade-goers enthusiastically celebrated Puerto Rican heritage and culture, and many say the atmosphere of the parade is like nothing else.?It?s like this is my whole family,? said parade attendee Samantha Morales.More than 100 organizations participated in this year?s event, including marching bands, salsa dancers and Latin percussionists. Many Bronx dignitaries also attended the parade, showing their support of the Puerto Rican community. Organizers say they are looking forward to celebrating Puerto Rican culture in the Bronx for many years to come.
