Quinnipiac University has reported that one of its students has tested positive for coronavirus.

The school says the student is a commuter who lives at home with his family, and will remain quarantined for two weeks.

Officials say contact tracing is underway, and the campus and all its classrooms will remain open as normal.

This is the first confirmed positive test at the Hamden school as around 10,000 tests have been given since the start of the semester.
