Federal prosecutors have unsealed a sweeping racketeering indictment that targets suspected gang members in Bridgeport.

The U.S. attorney's office says all eight defendants are part of the Greene Homes Boyz or Original North End gangs.

They're suspected in connection with at least five shootings in Bridgeport, including one at the Golden Hill Courthouse in 2020 that sent four people to the hospital.
