A settlement conference is now set for Feb. 9 in the case of the man partially paralyzed in New Haven police custody.
Randy Cox has a $100 million lawsuit against the city and the five officers involved in his injury.
Cox was being driven in a police van on June 19 when the driver braked hard, and he went headfirst into the wall of the van. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
All officers involved in his injury are on paid leave and facing criminal misdemeanor charges.
