A record number of Connecticut residents filed Lemon Law cases because of faulty cars that they purchased in 2019, the Department of Consumer Protection announced.
A record 93 cases have been filed so far this year, the DCP says. The number beats the 2018 record of 81 cases.

Connecticut's Lemon Law Program was one of the first in the country, beginning in 1984 and covers cars that have had a defect within the manufacturer's limited warranty during the first 2 years or 24,000 miles that could not be repaired after a reasonable number of repair attempts.
