Rep. Jim Himes toured the new Stamford Health's Cohen Children's Institute in Stamford Hospital Wednesday.
A major goal of the new unit was to provide children with a more "home-like" feel rather than feeling like a hospital.
The in-patient unit features 10 private rooms, all with nautical themes.
