Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro says that someone vandalized her campaign office In New Haven.

Officials did not comment on how the office was vandalized. A spokesperson for DeLauro's campaign says a police report has since been filed.

"Violence, vandalism, and the destruction of property are never acceptable. Discussion and dialogue are the best way to address serious issues," says Congresswoman DeLauro. "I hope that moving forward people will know that they can get their message to me with a letter or a phone call rather than resorting to vandalism."
