A new report by GasBuddy says gas prices are at their lowest since 2010. The national average is at $3.41 and is around $3.72 in Connecticut.
AAA expects 86 percent of people traveling for the holidays will do so by car.
Nearly 35 million Americans are expected to travel this holiday weekend, according to AAA. It is one of the biggest weekends for travel since 2008. Closer to home, AAA Mid-Atlantic expects more than 1 million residents to travel at least 50 miles from home over the weekend.
