A Boston TV station is reporting that General Electric is considering Boston or New York.
The company's headquarters are currently located in Fairfield.
GE was expected to make a decision about relocating by the end of December, but pushed back that announcement.
The company started talking about relocating after Connecticut raised business taxes.
