A New Canaan man is facing charges after allegedly defrauding his ex-girlfriend out of thousands of dollars.
The Hour newspaper reports that police arrested 61-year-old Robert Eason Friday on multiple charges, including larceny and identity theft.
Eason reportedly stole about $7,500 from the victim's bank account.
Eason is expected to appear in court later this month.
