? The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that an NTSB investigation faults pilot training in a fatal commuter plane crash that killed a Stamford Sept. 11 widow.
The widow, Beverly Eckert, was among 49 people on board the plane when it crashed in February. Everyone aboard the plane and one person on the ground in Buffalo died in the crash. The plane was operated by Colgan Air.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the pilot of the plane, Capt. Marvin Renslow, had failed flight tests and had never been properly taught how to respond to an emergency. The Wall Street Journal says it received the information from people close to the investigation.
