State Republicans are urging Gov. Ned Lamont not to implement tolls along Connecticut's highways.

They say working people and families in the state can't afford the extra expenses.

The push comes after state Rep. Josh Elliott, the only Democrat to formally announce a run for governor, said he supports bringing tolls back—but only for people from out of state.
