People of all ages came together at Greenwich Hospital Saturday to write holiday cards for veterans.
It was part of an American Red Cross event called Holiday Mail for Heroes.
News 12 is told the cards will be hand-delivered to the veterans starting next week.
Organizers with the Red Cross say they will also visit various places, including West Point and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland.
