Renovation work was recently completed at Harding High School in Bridgeport to make parts of the facility clean and safe for both students and staff.
On Tuesday, Bridgeport School Superintendent Dr. John Ramos discussed some of the improvements made to the 80-year-old building. Last week, a complete renovation job was performed inside Harding High's 14 restroom facilities. Sinks and toilets were replaced, graffiti removed and a fresh coat of paint was applied to the walls and ceilings.
The renovation work on the restroom facilities cost just under $20,000. Over the summer break, the school will spend more than $1 million to fully refurbish the rest of the school.
