Metro-North riders had a chance to speak about conditions Thursday morning during ?Meet the Commuter Railroad Day.?
The event took place at the South Norwalk train station as members of the Connecticut Rail Commuter Council stopped commuters on platforms and in the waiting room to get feedback on their commutes.
Riders noted the need for more parking, seats and extra cars.
But most of all, commuters complained about the lack of cleanliness inside Metro-North?s trains.
They say train cars can be disgusting and want something done about it.
Council representatives say they are working to get the riders? gripes addressed.
