Ridgefield High School is open Tuesday but under a veil of caution.
Administrators were notified Monday afternoon of a written threat, suggesting a bomb would be detonated sometime Tuesday.
Ridgefield and state police swept the school before the start of classes with bomb-sniffing dogs. Police did not find any explosives, so the school got the OK to open as scheduled.
However, there were restrictions. Backpacks, sports bags or other packages were not allowed into the building.
