A pair of men from Ridgefield who organized their own disaster relief effort to lend a helping hand to the victims of Hurricane Harvey have made it to Texas.
Peter Rossini and Ezra Zimmerman flew into Texas and rented a box truck to fill with pallets of food, water and diapers.
The goods will be delivered to a Houston community center they found online.
The men started a GoFundMe account to make as big of an impact as possible.
Rossini posted on his business page Sunday night that the pair is exhausted, but wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
The pair also helped out during Sandy.
