The Prospector Theater in Ridgefield received a special visit from Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds last week.

Reynolds, accompanied by his children, stopped by the theater to catch a movie and take photos with the employees.

The theater was screening his latest hit film, "Deadpool and Wolverine," which has been dominating the box office since its premiere. Reynolds' visit was a welcome surprise for the staff and patrons of the Prospector Theater, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing employment opportunities to people with disabilities.
