Sacred Heart University announced that they will be building a hockey and skating arena on campus.

The nearly 4,000-seat facility will serve both men's and women's Division I hockey programs.

Other features will include a pro shop, beer gardens, food venues and meeting rooms. It will also be open to the public.

Construction will begin this summer. It’s expected to be finished by 2022.
