Salman Rushdie's accused attacker denied bail by judge

The New Jersey man accused of stabbing author Salman Rushdie has been denied bail by a judge.
Hadi Matar, 24, of Fairview, pleaded not guilty to charges that he rushed a stage in western New York and repeatedly stabbed the famed novelist.
Rushdie is apparently still in the hospital. His agent says the author's liver is damaged, and that he could lose an eye.
