Bridgeport school nurses and Mayor Bill Finch met Friday to sort out their issues with a new contract.News 12 Connecticut was not allowed near the meeting and both sides said after the meeting that they had no comment. The nurses say they agreed to a pay freeze over the next four years but would continue to get paid their $54,000 salary with a 52-week pay schedule. The city claims the agreement was for a pay freeze and a shift from a 12-month schedule to a 10-month schedule.
