A Bridgeport Board of Education member has confirmed that Thomas Hooker School will be closed this week due to water damage from last week.
School officials say crews discovered a broken pipe, which led to students and staff being sent home early last Wednesday.
They say the pipe was connected to the sprinkler system and resulted in nine classrooms having water damage.
The school was also closed last Thursday and Friday to fix the damage.
Students say there also was water in the hallway.
Officials say air quality tests continued to show significant mold in several of those classrooms.
