7ds agoWHAT’S NEW: The weather roller coaster rolls on this week, with snow chances dwindling. Warmer air moves in overnight, pushing snow north of the region. Litchfield County may still see brief light snow. Temperatures will briefly warm up and reach the 40s Wednesday afternoon, but a cold front will move through with some rain and snow showers.
WHAT’S NEXT: It will be a very cold start to Thursday. Temperatures warm back up into the 40s on Friday. Rain is likely to fall with the warmup. There may be some snow again as the weekend wraps on Sunday. The month of February seems to pick up right where January will leave off.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy and windy. Scattered snow or rain showers. High of 45 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy and colder. High of 34 degrees.
FRIDAY: Rain. High of 43 degrees.
