Secretary of the State Denise Merrill paid a visit to Staples High School to help students who are eligible to vote get registered just in time for the general election this November.

Secretary of the State Denise Merrill paid a visit to Staples High School to help students who are eligible to vote get registered just in time for the general election this November.
Today is National Voter Registration Day. It was first observed in 2012.
Merrill says during the November 2020 election, 45,000 18- to-24-year-olds were registered to vote.
As part of National Voter Registration Day, students eligible to vote in November got registered in the cafeteria.
