350ds agoSen. Richard Blumenthal and the Department of Veterans Affairs announced Monday that veterans of all ages are now eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Blumenthal says he's visited clinics in West Haven and Newington recently, and that he is impressed with the VA's outreach program and scheduling times that are convenient.
The VA says veterans must be enrolled for care with the VA to receive the vaccine, and that 17,000 have been vaccinated already.
Blumenthal says more supplies may be on the way.
