Sen. Richard Blumenthal is calling on both Democrats and Republicans in Congress to honor late Sen. Lindsey Graham by passing the Russia Sanctions bill he championed before his sudden death last week at 71.

"The funeral this week for Lindsey Graham will be a monument to him, but even better would be to pass the Russia Sanctions bill and aid the cause of peace by bringing Putin to the table in stopping his murderous war against Ukraine," Blumenthal said on Sunday.

Memorial services for Graham in both Washington, D.C. and his home state of South Carolina and set for Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29.
