Sen. Richard Blumenthal got the word out Sunday with help from a financial expert Roy Abramowitz
They say small business owners can apply for up to 2.5 times their average monthly payroll.
"The $3 billion coming to Connecticut is a huge potential boost for our economy and employment and that's why I'm hoping businesses will take advantage of it, and use it to survive and thrive," said Blumenthal.
Blumenthal is urging small business owners to contact their local financial institutions for more information.
