Sen. Blumenthal urged the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTS) to continue investigation into Tesla's autopilot system. 

The senator urged Elon Musk and Tesla to stop misleading drivers about the safety of its self-driving technology. 

This comes after Tesla recalled 2 million cars. "I’m calling on NHTSA not only to continue this investigation but compel compliance with this recall and undertake additional recalls as appropriate," said Sen. Blumenthal. 

Sen. Blumenthal says the administration needs to do a better job at protecting consumers from crashes.
