A senior citizen is in critical condition after she was attacked by a pit bull in her own yard in New Haven.
It happened Tuesday afternoon on Hubinger Street.
According to police, the dog was not hers but belonged to someone who also lives in the home.
The dog is being quarantined at the animal shelter.
So far, the owner is not being charged.
