Four seniors had a close call with fire on the Long Island Sound Tuesday evening.
A boat carrying four passengers in their 80s went up in flames after a problem with the motor. The blaze was the area's third boat fire this season.
All four boaters are doing fine.
Darien's Fire Marshal Bob Bush is advising boaters to be careful when gassing up and make sure they don't overfill tanks. Bush says it's also important to keep boat motors properly ventilated.
