Two individuals are on the mend after a shooting that took place at Happy Landings Farm on Whisconier Road in Brookfield Wednesday night.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the parking lot shortly after 7 p.m.
According to police, the incident led two people to seek medical attention at Danbury Hospital.
Both victims sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Police did not provide additional information on what led to the shooting.
Authorities have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Gerald Rutledge of Southbury and Rithy Kay of Danbury were arrested in connection with the disturbance and shooting, police say.
Rutledge has been charged with assault and assault with a firearm.
Kathy was charged with assault.
Both are expected to appear in court Thursday.
