Norwalk police say they are investigating after shots were fired around 1 a.m. on the intersection of Meadow and Lawrence streets.
Police say there were reports of numerous shots fired, and although there were no victims, a car's windshield was struck.
Officers responded to a call from residents and located evidence at the intersection. Police say several shell casings were found. 
Several residents in the area say they heard the gunshots but didn't see anything. 
There are no suspects at this time, but police are encouraging anyone with information on the case to call them at 203-854-3111 or contact them anonymously via their website at www.norwalkpd.com.
