A summer time shopping tradition is back in Fairfield County.

Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan are all holding heavily anticipated sidewalk sales this weekend.

In Greenwich alone, 120 retailers are taking part.

Many of the stores and restaurants at the sidewalk sale will also be offering special deals and discounts.

Organizers say it’s a great opportunity to shop local.

The sales in all three towns run through Sunday and are among the largest outdoor sales events in Connecticut.
