A second local water company is asking customers to scale back as it deals with falling reservoir levels.
According to South Norwalk Electric and Water, its reservoirs have dropped under 50 percent capacity, and is looking for a 10 percent reduction from homeowners and businesses.
SNEW says the goal can be reached by taking simple steps, such as not watering your lawn now that fall is here.
Other tips include making sure the dishwasher and washing machine are full before running them, and flush toilets only when necessary.
