Snow and rain expected to hit southwestern Connecticut could create slick road conditions.
News 12 Connecticut meteorologists say that snow Tuesday night will change to an icy mix of precipitation north of the Merritt Parkway. Areas south of the Merritt will likely see mostly rain, although some snow is also possible.
A slushy coating to 2 inches of accumulation is possible. Temperatures will be between 32 and 36 degrees.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for northern Fairfield and New Haven counties through 9 a.m. Wednesday.
