The head of a local marketing agency says working from home has been successful for many small business owners, and some may keep it that way for good.
Joe Sequenzia, the owner of Milk Ad Agency in Norwalk, says the pandemic has unexpected side effects. He says one of them is realizing how efficient employees can be without ever showing up at work.
"I think that's been really eye-opening to me as a business owner! Maybe it's not necessary anymore to take those flights, to even go to the office as often as we thought we needed to. We're accomplishing more remotely in this pandemic than we did by being together, ironically," says Sequenzia.
However, he says it may not be practical for all small businesses to phase out their brick-and-mortar workplaces entirely.
