A Southport restaurant is set to officially reopen Monday after being closed for nearly 15 months due to fire damage.
Sammy's Southport Pizza & Grill was destroyed in a fire last April. Owner Sammy Palik says the community came together to help raise the money needed for them to rebuild.
As part of the renovation, Palik says additional seating was put in the restaurant.
A soft opening was held Sunday. Sammy's will hold grand reopening celebration at 11 a.m. Monday.
