It's the last weekend of summer, and on Saturday it was already starting to feel more like fall.
Chillier temperatures in the mid-70s kept most people away from the shore.
Some ventured into the water, saying that it was actually warmer than up on the beach.
But many people turned out to festivals, street fairs and the last softball game of the season for at least one team in Stamford.
